These are a few of my favorite things...
Infant Favorites
Fisher-Price Cradle 'N Swing, My Little Snugabunny
- I don't know how we survived the first few months without this swing! A friend bought it for us when Doodlebug was 2 months old and it was an absolute godsend. For months, it was the only place he would nap when he wasn't in a baby carrier. Now that we're expecting baby #2, it was the FIRST thing I told Dr. Spacetime that we had to set-up (and it's been in our living room for 2 months awaiting baby girl's arrival).
Lamaze Symphony Motion Gym, Pond
- We had the space version of this playmat when Doodlebug was a baby. It was his favorite toy for months. Great for engaging his little mind and we used it for tummy time too.
Toddler Favorites
KidKraft Nantucket Table and Four Chair Set
- This is the newest addition to Doodlebug's playroom and so far Doodlebug loves it. He finally has a place to play with play doh, color and do puzzles. No more puzzle pieces all over the floor. He really loves the different colored chairs and enjoys picking which color to sit on - the green one appears to be the favored chair right now.
Songs for Wiggleworms
- This CD really gets Doodlebug MOVING. He jumps, claps, stomps and gallops along to the songs. When it's over he always asks for a replay "more cici!".
Leapfrog Music Table - This table really grew with Doodlebug. It kept his interest about a year from about 10 months to nearly 2 years old.
Mama Favorites
Philosophy Amazing Grace Whipped Body Cream, 8 Oz.
- LOVE this body cream. It moisturizes and blend into my skin really well. The fragrant smell makes me smile and feel just a little bit "put-together" everyday.
Minnetonka Women's Cally Slipper
- Like little clouds on this mama's tired feet. These slippers feel like luxury. When your days mostly consist of sticky crumb-spotted floors, peanut butter smeared jeans and intense toddler negotiations, a little luxury goes a looong way.
Home Favorites
Electric Mixer - makes my hurried baking time go that much smoother.
Merry Pet Cat Washroom / Night Stand Pet House
- Yes, I did it. I actually bought something called a "washroom" for my cat. And I can't believe I didn't do it sooner! Every nook and cranny of our home is accounted for, so there really isn't anywhere for the litter box, other than the guest bathroom (not the most welcoming sight for our guests). We hid the litter box in the table / washroom and the bathroom looks so much neater. Our cat didn't balk at using the covered box and our guests are treated to a cleaner looking (and smelling bathroom). Five stars!
